At the recent Cosmoprof trade show in Bologna, the French company FIABILA unveiled its “Fiabila’s Boulevard,” a booth designed as an immersive experience where innovations were showcased in themed zones, each with its own identity and atmosphere. Each space highlighted specific product solutions and technologies related to different categories (color, care, UV gel, special effects), as well as formats tailored for professional and retail use.
A great opportunity to further reaffirm its position as a global leader in nail beauty, driven by an innovative spirit rooted as much in formulation as in the creation of new formats.

Founded in 1977 by Pierre Miasnik, FIABILA has been led for the past year by Filippo Manucci, CEO. The company employs over 500 people, including 55 dedicated to R&D worldwide, spread across ten factories located in six countries (France, Poland, India, Japan, the U.S., and Brazil). The new leadership reaffirms that, since the company’s founding in 1977, its ambition has not been to be the best at everything, but only in nail polish!
In the color segment, executives emphasized the company’s advanced expertise in resins to structure the performance of its formulas. The combination of alkyd, polyester, and epoxy resins allows for precise adjustment of shine, wear, and drying time. This expertise translates into hybrid systems capable of replicating a gel effect without a lamp, while incorporating approaches that combine color, care, and naturalness.

The 2-Step Next Gen G.E.L., packaged in an exclusive twist-pen format, illustrates this ability to transform the application process, while meeting high standards for formula safety and ease of removal. This type of packaging allows for a more intuitive, precise, and rapid application, while maintaining a level of performance that meets professional standards.

Another strategic pillar of Fiabila’s offering is skincare. The company offers solutions that incorporate innovation not only in terms of formulation but also in application methods (alcohol-free micellar spray primer, nail polish remover with skincare benefits, or targeted pen formats and applicators enabling more precise and on-the-go use).

We are also exploring new territory with a hybrid nail & hair care product. Nail’N’Hair Milky Serum is formulated for multi-purpose application in a single step, on both nails and hair, as an extension of our keratin expertise.

Regarding packaging, the company is introducing original formats such as twist-up pens, contactless sprays, droppers, and precision applicators (directly tailored to the formula and intended use). Also noteworthy is the introduction of shrink sleeves, which open up new possibilities for bottle decoration, offering greater flexibility and better consideration of recyclability concerns.
