Brivaplast: 60 Years and Major Investments

The Italian company Brivaplast, which positions itself as one of the world’s leading manufacturers of mascara, lip gloss, concealer, eyeliner, and eyebrow products, and which operates two production facilities— in Italy (headquarters) and China (Shanghai), as well as an office in the United States (California), is celebrating its 60th anniversary this year and announcing a significant expansion of its production facilities. In total, this represents a 35% increase, which not only optimizes workflows but also strengthens its internal capacity. The new area serves as a hub for technological advancement and is equipped with assembly and decoration machines.

The facility also includes a new automated vertical warehouse and a high-density storage area, all within a strictly controlled, filtered, and climate-controlled environment. The reorganization includes the relocation of the sampling department and an increase in archiving capacity.

These investments also extend to Metal Tech, where a new two-color screen printing machine has been installed to enhance decoration capabilities.

It is worth noting that Brivaplast acquired Metal Tech in 2022, an Italian company specializing in metallization, UV, and acrylic coatings on packaging for the cosmetics, food, and beverage sectors.
