End of Receivership for CEP

After a year and a half of receivership, the CEP Group has reached another major milestone
in its history with the conclusion of this process and the beginning of a new chapter for the
in Auvergne. This marks a new chapter for a historic industrial group founded in 1923, drawing on more than a century of industrial expertise in plastics processing. With this new organizational structure, CEP intends to capitalize on its strong local industrial roots and the expertise of its teams to build the next phase of its development.
The CEP Group is emerging from this judicial reorganization with a profoundly renewed organizational structure and a clear ambition: to consolidate its fundamentals and lay the groundwork for a sustainable future.

As part of this reorganization, the Group’s operations have been thoroughly restructured and concentrated at three sites in the Thiers area: Saint-Rémy-sur-Durolle and La-Monnerie-le-Montel.
This new organizational structure allows for the consolidation of operations and teams within a streamlined industrial footprint . The Thiers site, located in the ZAC de la Varenne, has been sold, thereby enabling the Group to concentrate its human, industrial, and operational resources.
This refocusing represents one of the major changes implemented over the past few months and should enable the Group to become more efficient.

A Far-Reaching Restructuring to Prepare for the Future

The exit from court-supervised restructuring marks the culmination of 18 months of restructuring and ushers in a new chapter in the history of the CEP Group, featuring a reorganization of operations, a consolidation of industrial capabilities, and a refocusing of resources…
This new structure should enable CEP to start afresh on a more solid foundation and focus on its industrial expertise while continuing to expand its operations in two historic markets: packaging solutions for the cosmetics and personal care sectors, as well as equipment and accessories for professional environments.

“The past 18 months have been a particularly significant period for the CEP Group,” explains Pierre Dambricourt, Chief Executive Officer. “The decisions we made required profound transformations, but they now enable us to take a new step forward with a refocused organization and simplified governance. Our priority is now to look toward the future, consolidate our operations, and continue the Group’s development.”
