Jennifer Dean appointed head of medmix’s Beauty division
Ms. Jennifer Dean has just been appointed head of medmix’s Beauty division, which oversees the GEKA and QIAOYI brands. Jennifer Dean played a key role in the development of these two brands during her tenure as medmix’s chief financial officer, a position she has held since the company’s IPO in 2021. “With her strategic vision and extensive experience,” the press release states, “she is well positioned to lead the Beauty division into its next phase of growth.” “I am delighted to take the helm of this division, which is a global leader in its market segments,” she said. “Our beauty brands, GEKA and QIAOYI, are well positioned for the future, thanks to close collaboration with our customers, high-quality service, a portfolio of innovative and proven products, and high-performing teams.” In her new role, the press release states, Jennifer Dean will continue to develop and refine the Beauty division’s product portfolio and strategy, with a focus on accelerating the growth of the company’s brands and strengthening its market position.
The appointment comes at a time when GEKA was one of five finalists in the Innovation & Trends (IT) Awards competition held at MakeUp in Los Angeles in the packaging category for its FIBER lift-up mascara brush. The FIBER lift-up fiber features a solid round base with a tip divided into four fine ends. This structure allows lashes to fall naturally into the gaps at the tip, lifting them while facilitating even product pickup. A porous fiber surface further enhances volume application, helping to deliver visible results with control and uniformity. The geometry, surface structure, and brush architecture work together to maximize application performance.
