German company Corpack sets its sights on the US market in 2026
Corpack, a family-owned company based in Munich that specializes in the design, development and production of cosmetic packaging, will generate turnover of around €8 million this year. It employs twelve people but has an extensive global network of industrial partners selected for their technical expertise, enabling it to offer a wide range of solutions in all segments of cosmetic packaging. Around 80% of its customers are located in Germany, with the remaining 20% spread across other European countries. In 2026, the firm plans to expand (once again) into the American market and thus take advantage of the strong growth potential in this region.
‘We provide end-to-end packaging solutions,’ explains Jean-Paul Corbeil, CEO, "including design, engineering and production for all categories of cosmetics (skin and hair care, make-up and perfumes). But one of our main focuses today is the development of sustainable packaging. To this end, we are constantly developing new single-material solutions, refill systems, lightweight packaging to reduce CO₂ impact and alternative materials to conventional plastics. Our products must help brands reduce their environmental impact while maintaining high aesthetic and functional standards."
In 2024 and 2025, the German firm has naturally focused its investments on developing new packaging solutions, scheduled for launch in 2026, but also on optimizing its internal processes to further improve the efficiency and quality of its services. Corpack also plans to expand into the American market next year to take advantage of the strong growth potential in this region.
“It’s important to understand,” says Christopher Corbeil, Project Manager, “that we provide a fully integrated solution, managing the entire supply chain from design to delivery. Beyond packaging, we also coordinate bulk manufacturing and filling through our trusted partner network and continue to invest in sustainable, innovative R&D.” By working with us, our customers are freed from the constraints of managing multiple suppliers. Our approach saves time and resources, while ensuring consistency and the highest quality standards at every stage of product development. Recognising that each brand is unique, we offer personalised and flexible services. This integrated and comprehensive approach significantly reduces delivery times, allowing products to be brought to market faster without compromising on quality.
Innovative products: the proof!
This year, the Corpack team is preparing to launch its patent-pending “Modulo” jar — a modular, customizable system designed for use with multiple materials. It supports up-scaling and offers a convenient refill option, all while prioritizing material reduction. The base model is made entirely of PP and can be upgraded with additional layers or outer shells crafted from virtually any material. The “Modulo” jar is arguably one of the most versatile jars ever created.
Corpack will also introduce a new version of its patented “Twin Pack” dual-compartment bottle in the coming year. The redesigned round format accommodates various closures, including pumps. Ideal for pairing two products in one unit, the “Twin Pack” has become a sought-after solution for travel-size combinations and is performing strongly in the German market, where it has launched with two major drugstore chains.
“Other innovations are already in the pipeline,” the team adds. “We have long prioritized sustainable materials and are well prepared for stricter global regulations. The new PPWR places strong emphasis on recyclable plastics, and while we see significant environmental potential in biodegradable materials, we hope they will gain broader acceptance in the future. In the meantime, we continue to advance recyclable and circular packaging concepts to help our customers remain fully compliant.”
Aligned with the company’s sustainability vision, Corpack offers a range of refill systems for compacts and dispensers, demonstrating how premium and natural materials can extend a product’s lifespan while reducing overall material use and minimizing environmental impact.
A third highlight is BioD, a material that supports a wide array of packaging formats—from powder compacts to lipsticks, caps, and jars. It is suitable for both injection moulding and thermoforming and can be paired with other sustainable materials such as Sughera® or wood.
“Among nearly 11,000 entries from 56 countries,” notes Christopher Corbeil, “our refillable cosmetic jar for the brand Gezeiten stood out in the Packaging category for its innovative design and commitment to sustainable development. It combines recyclable materials, a refill system that preserves the exterior design, and a secondary-use concept, pushing the boundaries of eco-responsible luxury skincare.”
Further developments in mono-material compacts are underway and are expected to launch in 2026. One such innovation is an eyeshadow palette made entirely from BioD—a biodegradable bioplastic derived from 100% renewable raw materials, using ingredients also found in paper production. Crafted from a single material, the palette contains no metal, magnets, or adhesives, ensuring both durability and recyclability.
