Refilling: Techniplast introduces its brand new Refill Station 2.0™
French company Techniplast, which has specialized in the design and manufacture of refill solutions for perfume and hygiene/beauty products since 1992, has introduced a particularly ingenious refill station, Refill Station 2.0™.
Explanations by Jean-Philippe Lamboux, CEO, and Loic Bouet, Sales Director.
“We have been pioneers in refillable solutions for over 32 years,” explains Jean-Philippe Lamboux, "starting in 1992 with the creation of Mugler perfume fountains. After several years of research and development, we set ourselves a new challenge by aligning technical requirements, real-world uses, and environmental impact, which has enabled us to offer brands and distributors Refill Station 2.0™. A simple, automatic, and elegant refill station with a digital screen, allowing refills with a single click, without compromising on the experience."
The mini refill station is extremely intuitive to use thanks to its digital screen. A single click automatically refills the perfume bottle. Its design is compatible with all perfume brands. The color and touchscreen graphics can be customized.
Highly accurate dosing
This station is compatible with perfume bottles equipped with a crimped pump or a screw-on pump. This ultra-secure technology guarantees filling without any loss of perfume thanks to a perfect seal. It automatically detects the capacity of the bottle to be filled and guarantees highly accurate dosing: +/- 1.5%.
No rinsing is required between each filling, even with different perfumes.
It ensures the traceability of the juices by reading the batch number printed on the QR code affixed to the 500 ml bottles. It should be noted that the use of glass bottles only preserves the quality of the perfumes.
No accessories are required. A Wi-Fi or Bluetooth connection is possible, on the one hand to communicate legal information about the fragrance to consumers and, on the other hand, to transmit statistical data related to the refill service.
Just in time!
“I would like to remind you that the AGEC (”Anti-Waste for a Circular Economy“) law enacted in February 2020 aims to transform our linear economy (Produce-Consume-Discard) into a circular economy,” emphasizes Loic Bouet.
Among the five main areas of focus is “Better Production,” which sets a target of 10% reused packaging by 2027. In this context, brands, manufacturers, and distributors are considering virtuous solutions to encourage consumers to make lasting changes to their habits.
At the end of June 2025, several major players in the cosmetics sector joined forces with two distributors for a nationwide experiment on the reuse of perfume bottles. Refill Station 2.0™ is just what we need!
